95 Grateful Students Excited To Stay In School

Updated: Mar 3, 2023

95 grateful students are excited remain stay in school because of a tuition grant given to students in the village of Huizimé! Without our grant of $2000 (1078580 CFA francs), these students would have been taken out of school, halting their education.

Huizimé faces serious problems with a lack of classrooms in their schools and a high dropout rate. Teachers are also leaving the village and moving to larger cities where they are better paid and families have more money to pay tuition. We work to reduce poverty in Togo by paying tuition & fees to reduce the dropout rate and keeping good teachers in the villages. We’ve also built schools and provided school supplies for the children. Visit our gallery to see pictures of the donation ceremony.

We are grateful to our financial partners and the project coordination team in Togo for keeping these students in school where they belong.

You can become our financial partner by donating to Save Our Villages. We are a 501(c)(3) organization. Your donation may be tax deductible. Please check with a tax professional for advice.
