Komlavi was born and raised in Lomé, Togo (West Africa). He obtained an associate’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Lomé in the summer of 2001 and moved to the United States shortly thereafter. In 2011, Komlavi obtained his Associate of Applied Science at Cincinnati State and Community College and then his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northern Kentucky University in 2014. Since 2011, Komlavi has been working as a Software Engineer where he has designed, maintained, and developed several applications for various companies. In December 2016, he founded SOV (Save Our Villages) to help reduce poverty and make a difference for people living in Togo.

Komlavi currently lives in Philadelphia, PA (USA) with his wife and three children.  He is an avid Catholic, a runner and enjoys playing soccer. Komlavi’s other interests also include real estate and farming entrepreneurship.
